When I want sushi, this is the first place I think of, and one of the few places I trust the fish to be top quality and fresh. The Shrimp Lovers Roll is my favorite roll in all of San Diego. Don't be an amateur like I was when I first ordered this - the lemon slices aren't just garnish! Eat one with each piece of roll. So delicious and not bitter at all. Do yourself a favor and just order 2 rolls... it's that good! Food ordered: Tempura appetizer, Gyoza appetizer, Shrimp Lovers Roll, Spicy Yellow Tail Roll, Spicy California Hand Roll
Took my gf here and she was instantly in a food coma first bite. We both loved it. Good food and fast service. They serve poke too which I loved.
Lunch is a good amount of food and tastes great for $10. I ordered California Roll and Tempura and both were good.
Amazing sushi place! I’m a returning customer. They always have the freshest fish and very generous with it. All sushi I tried were melting in my mouth. Usually coming here every two weeks or so and gladly continuing with this tradition!
Great food, and reasonably priced, I had the spicy chicken with California roll. Service was also exceptional, no complaints, definitely recommended!
We’ve been regulars of sushi namu for almost 2-3 years now. They’ve always had amazing service and I always felt welcome there due to the home like atmosphere. I always love coming and eating here and the way they have set up their restaurant for covid precautions is amazing. I feel safe ordering online/through the phone and picking up. This is my favorite restaurant in all of San Diego hands down. I hope this restaurant will always be here for many more years to come! Thank you guys for amazing service and food <3
I passed by this morning and they are permanently closed. I followed them from their old location on Broadway to here. If they moved again let us know!

The food is amazingly delicious it definitely hits. I loved the lemon salmon roll Their service is fantastic. The place gives you mom and pop vibes so it feels homey. Sucks they just closed the place down hopefully they open a different location.
We've been coming here for sushi for the last 17+ years and it never disappoints. My go to is the lettuce wrap roll. I tried the dynamite roll today and was pleased with the flavors and freshness of the seafood. We also always get the garlic edamame and their cucumber salad. The service is always great and the owners are so sweet and kind. Noise level is perfect and there's ample parking out front.
